This 420,000 square-foot student living building is located steps away from Purdue University and offers 4 levels of student living apartments over 1 level of commercial space and 2 below grade parking levels. The structure consists of wood framing at the residential levels and post-tensioned concrete slabs supported by concrete columns. The transfer slab at the top of the concrete podium is 15” and supports the wood framed levels as well as exterior courtyards and interior amenity spaces. Due to varying grades around the site, the elevated 1st floor slab had to be broken up into multiple pieces at varying elevations. ​
