This 120,000 square-foot addition links the existing MGS campus buildings to complete the corporate headquarters. The project includes an 80,000 single-story warehouse and production space and a two-story office. The building is primarily composed of steel framing and precast wall panels. The roof is constructed of metal roof deck on steel bar joists and joist girders supported by steel columns and precast wall panels. The second floor of the office space is composed of composite concrete on metal deck supported by steel beams bearing on steel columns and precast wall panels. The steel columns and precast walls are supported by shallow continuous and isolated foundations. Many of the warehouse and production spaces support multiple overhead gantry cranes. The office space contains standard offices, conference areas, and a large open entrance lobby cladded in a mixture of precast and curtain wall.
