Hilton Garden Inn

The Hilton Garden Inn, (611 N. Broadway) located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, is a five-story hotel building built in Richardsonian Romanesque style of architecture in 1886. It was formerly known as the Loyalty Building. Rock-faced granite was used in the wall construction from the basement to the first-story level and Bedford limestone on upper levels at the exterior facades. This building was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

PE designed steel stairs, elevator shaft, and HVAC support platform. PE also performed floor capacity reviews, floor load tests, and reinforcement designs. In addition, interior alterations, condition reviews of skylight atrium, roof framing, and building façades were other services carried out by PE.
