Single-story 550,000 square-foot industrial building. This building achieved LEED Gold certification, which at that time was the largest certified distribution facility in the country. This project features 55 loading docks, storage, and office areas. A 32 ft clear height is provided throughout the interior, with 80 ft wide speed bays located at the exterior. The structure consists of open web steel joists supported on joist girders, steel tube and wide flange columns, on spread footings. The exterior of the building is load-bearing precast wall panels. Lateral loads are resisted by a combination of precast shear wall panels and interior steel K-braces.
