As of September 11th, Pierce Engineers (PE) has enhanced its concrete and masonry restoration practice by acquiring Gunnar Malm and Associates, Inc. (GMA) located in Madison, Wisconsin. Having Gunnar and his staff join PE‘s Madison office and expanding its general practice area is an exciting next step for PE.
“Gunnar and I have known each other for many years,” states Richard Pierce, Founder and President of Pierce Engineers, Inc. “We both developed leading, successful consulting structural engineering firms in Wisconsin, both focusing on client relationships and creative solutions. Having Gunnar, Ron Bernhagen, PE’s Restoration Manager, and the rest of his staff join us at this point is an extraordinary step for PE that further establishes it as a leader in concrete and masonry restoration services.”
“Meshing our two Firms together at this point will allow greater reach and expanded services to existing and new clients in need of forensic, restoration and investigation services related to concrete and masonry”, Randy Elliott, PE‘s Managing Principal, adds. PE will continue to serve its clients from its Milwaukee and Madison based office, providing ingenious structural engineering services nationwide.
“To all our clients and partners over the past 24 years: This past year GMA has been looking for a liked-minded structural engineering firm which shares our dedication to customer service and creative engineering solutions”, says J. Gunnar Malm, Founder of Gunnar Malm and Associates, Inc. “I am pleased to report that GMA has decided to join PE, and that all of GMA’s current staff will be integrated with and assisted by PE‘s existing staff. As a result, Ron Bernhagen and I can continue working with you, and also have a greater breadth of experience, expertise and staff to draw from. We find this time exciting, and we think you will as well”.

On November 15th, 2016 the PIERCE ENGINEERS Madison Office moved to a bigger, better office space. We moved from 10 W. Mifflin Street to 222 W. Washington Avenue.
We are excited about the move as we are growing very rapidly. This new space allows us to be able to continue to grow as we look ahead to the future.
On September 9, 2016 the PIERCE ENGINEERS Milwaukee Office moved down the street to a bigger, better office space. We moved from a 6,814 sf office at 241 N. Broadway to about 12,000 sf at 181 N. Broadway.
The Madison Office will be moving at the end of October 2016.
These office moves stem from PE’s unprecedented growth in the past couple of years and will allow for continued growth in the future.
